The health of the market is improving, although, slowly. The bulk of the sales for 2013 were in 2 price ranges, $140,000 – $179,999 and $200,00 – $249,999. In 2012 the same $140,000 – $179,999 range was equal in sales to 2013 but the $200,000 – $249,999 range increase in 2013 by 75%. This improvement is showing the improving health of the market.
As of November 2013 there were 997 Active listing in Shasta County where in 2012 there were 897 Active listings. Another indicator of an improving real estate market.
